Grand Café

The Grand Café is located on the first floor of the Grand Hotel along Karl Johans Gate. This café was a gathering place for artists in the second half of the 19th century, where Ibsen and Munch were frequent visitors to the café.

Kafe Sult

Its name, "Sult", means "hunger" in Norwegian. Although it does not offer a vast selection of dishes, it is reputed for its excellent flavours and it is always buzzing with people.

Frogner Park (Frognerparken)

Frogner Park is one of the highlights in Oslo. The park contains 192 sculptures with more than 600 figures, all modelled in full size by Gustav Vigeland. Vigeland also designed the architectural setting and the layout of the grounds. The "Monolitten Human Tower", located in the centre of the park, is a masterpiece that took 13 years to construct. The park also has a pool and tennis courts. Also make sure you don’t miss the fantastic open-air restaurant.

Theater Cafe

The Theatre Café is located on the 1st floor of Hotel Continental and was established in 1857. It has a buzzing atmosphere combined with international cuisine of excellent standard. It has been listed by the New York Times as one of the 10 most popular cafes in the world. It is located next to the National Theatre. Reservations are recommended.
