Egeskov Castle

The Egeskov Castel is an ancient renaissance-style castle with a beautiful garden, constructed in 1554. The name Egeskov means "oak tree forest, "and is based on the fact that a whole oak tree forest was used as a foundation to build the castle. Egeskov Castle, which was originally built in the middle of a grand manor, still has ranches and farms around its periphery.
